The paper describes an essential hypertension (EH) monitoring system that is an important informational and analytical tool that, on the basis of the collection and analysis of data on the activities of health care facilities in preventing and treating EH, allows one to make effective managerial decisions to develop and improve high-quality medical care to cardiac patients. EH can be monitored at all levels of healthcare governing bodies, i.e. at the municipal, regional, and federal ones.
